Advocacy Front and Center in Jefferson City and Washington D.C.

As we navigate 2025, LeadingAge Missouri and its members are raising their trusted voices on state and federal policy proposals.  On Missouri Advocacy Day, over 40 members and seniors conducted 25+ legislator visits to advance bills and support funding for aging services.  In Washington D.C., other LA MO members lobbied Missouri’s Congressional delegation to protect and preserve Medicaid, to support affordable housing, and to preserve non-profit status and interest deductions for tax-exempt state & local bonds, vital to non-profit financing.  We encourage all members to participate (like those pictured) in public policy advocacy.  The trusted, unified voice of LeadingAge Missouri can deliver meaningful policies for residents and providers.
