Message From the Director
Welcome to LeadingAge Missouri!
For 41 years we were known as the Missouri Association of Homes for the Aging, serving providers of long-term care services and supports, housing for the elderly and other community-based services for elderly Missourians. Our basic mission has not changed with our new name-we are here to advocate for aging services, provide top-notch education, offer opportunities for networking among our members and provide information and services to advance the cause of our members.
LeadingAge Missouri is a member-driven organization, with leadership elected by peers across Missouri. The association is led by a Board of Directors which includes executive committee officers. Committees and task forces from volunteer members around the state help to develop and oversee governing policies and positions.
LeadingAge Missouri members make the association what it is, so it’s time to get involved with your association! There are numerous opportunities for involvement including task forces and committees, meeting your peers at conferences, seminars, network meetings and most notably, our annual meeting. If you know of any providers of services and supports for elderly Missourians who are not currently members of LeadingAge Missouri, let us know so we can contact them about membership. It is only through a united voice of advocacy for aging services providers that we can grow stronger and better serve seniors across Missouri.
