Overview

We are partnering with LeadingAge Oregon to offer this opportunity. New and veteran nursing home staff have indicated they need more opportunity to examine best practices for improving assessments and developing comprehensive care planning that ensures the health and well-being of their residents. This workshop, designed for the entire interdisciplinary team, will provide a comprehensive review for each of the 20 Care Area Assessments (CAAs), which establish the framework for developing, reviewing and revising residents’ comprehensive plans of care.

Who Should Attend

Any staff member responsible for completion of any part of the MDS, including nursing, dietary, activities, social services, and medical records. Administrators will find the information provided in this class useful for understanding the impact of the MDS on facility systems and processes and well as impact on quality measures and star ratings.
